KORG nanoKEY Fold: Ultra-compact MIDI controller in a foldable design

Thanks to its numerous additional functions such as a powerful arpeggiator or the practical scale and chord modes, the nanoKEY Fold is a fully-fledged MIDI keyboard that is so compact when folded up that it fits easily into a trouser pocket. The 25 membrane keys can be played in a controlled manner and are equipped with their own LEDs, which display the correct notes of the currently selected scale if required. The “Easy Scale” mode goes one step further by only allowing you to play notes that actually occur in the selected scale - so you can experiment to your heart's content without playing the wrong notes. In addition to CC commands such as pitch bend and modulation, the two flexible touch sliders can also be assigned scales, which - similar to devices from the KAOSSILATOR series - allows melodies to be played with a swipe of a finger.

If required, the keyboard can be split into two sections, whereby each part can be assigned its own function, such as chord mode or arpeggiator. This expands the performance possibilities with the nanoKEY Fold many times over. All settings can be conveniently saved in 15 different scenes using the free KORG KONTROL EDITOR software and recalled directly from the device. The controller can be operated with a computer, tablet or smartphone via USB-C without any additional drivers, and the standard MIDI interface (via the supplied mini jack DIN adapter) allows you to control classic MIDI devices such as synthesizers or drum machines. And since individualism is usually a top priority for musicians and producers alike, the nanoKEY Fold is available in five stylish color variants!
