With the Euro RST series, Spector offers a sonically and visually independent version of its classic bass design. The models are characterized by their low weight, increased resonance and flexible electronics - features that have quickly made them a favorite among Spector players.
For 2025, SPECTOR is expanding the series to include an exclusive special version with a top and headstock made of strikingly grained zebrawood. This tonewood not only impresses with its eye-catching appearance, but also with its tonal balance - present trebles, full basses and a round mid-range. In combination with the extremely light Empresswood body and neck and fingerboard made of roasted maple, the result is an instrument with a high response, clear definition and natural playability.
The surface has an open, silk-matt natural finish, which gives the instrument a pleasant, well-rehearsed feel right from the start.
Technically, the model is based on the proven RST platform with Aguilar Super Double humbuckers, Aguilar OBP-2 electronics, ultra-light Gotoh GB350 tuners, mother-of-pearl crown inlays and brass nut. The Euro RST Zebrawood is available as a 4- and 5-string version.
